Ladies and Gentlemen,

on behalf of the Scientific and Organizational Committee, we would like to invite you to participate in the 12th International Conference in the series

The role of commodity science in quality management in a knowledge-based economy

The conference will be held on 4-6 June 2025 at the Faculty of Management and Quality Sciences of the Gdynia Maritime University.

The program will include the following thematic areas:

• Innovative materials, products and technologies
• Quality vs. product and brand management
• Consumer attitudes, preferences and behavior on the market
• Food safety and quality management
• Sustainable product, sustainable production, sustainable consumption
• Circular economy
• Standardized and integrated management systems in practice
• Quality management methods and techniques

The thematic areas are located in the disciplines of management and quality sciences, and food and nutrition technology.

We plan to publish the monograph „The role of commodity science in quality management in a knowledge-based economy” (20 points per chapter) and to publish the best manuscripts in the Scientific Journals of the Maritime University in Gdynia (40 points) and in the journal ŻYWNOŚĆ. Nauka. Technologia. Jakość (20 points). Manuscripts for the Scientific Journals and the journal will be selected by the Scientific Committee based on reviews. Manuscripts should be prepared in English.

We hope that the Conference will allow for the exchange of scientific experiences and thus give its participants wide opportunities for scientific development, through numerous contacts with representatives of other research centers and mutual inspiration of participants.
